Construction
Made in-house and ready to ship, our Goodyear welted collection celebrates traditional shoemaking. A welt connects the upper to the insole assembly and is stitched separately to the outsole. This time-honoured construction provides a durable foundation and allows the outsole to be replaced, helping extend the life of your shoes.
The last
The Aurora is our inaugural last and the most widely used in the Axen collection. A subtly rounded toe and crisp, flowing lines create a refined shape with a slimmer profile. Combining traditional British restraint with a modern silhouette, it brings a consistent elegance to our formal shoes, from everyday business dressing to tailoring for weddings and special occasions.
